Hello people,
Is there anyone who has experience working with WM8731 on DE2 board. I want to know the following: Is there any possibility to use WM8731 as a ADC(Analog to Digital Converter)? I have analog signal and I need to do ADC conversion with DE2 board. Thank you very much for your time and effort. Bojan:)Link Copied

It's designed for AC operation and doesn't have a DC accuracy as known from instrumentation and measurement ADC. Automatic zero restore can possibly be used to improve it's behaviour in a measurement application.

Does it means that I could use WM8731 for my own application like A/D converter?
The signal that I want to convert is DC signal within a range [0 to 1.4 V]. All the best. Bojan- Mark as New

The signal has to be DC-shifted to WM8731 input range. At a DE2 board, you must short the line input AC coupling.
