how to use FPGA?

I have down load an openMSP430 core from opencore website, how can synthesis to FPGA? Just create a new project and add all the verilog fire of openMSP430 to the project, then assign all the PINs and use JTAG to configuration? Is this will make my FPGA become the openMSP430 core? DE0 board. I an a newer to FPGA. THANK YOU!

Well.. yes, I think you got it correctly.

Import the files to the QUartus tool. on the left hand side of the window doudle click the analyze button. From there go down the tree and execute each step.
