hello! english is not my native language so excusme for the posible mistakes i'll do...

i'm trying to follow the an517.pdf (http://www.altera.com/literature/an/an517.pdf) resource to build a ddr2 sdram controller with sopc for a cyclone iii development board... this document allows you to build the system controller step by step.

i've done it from the start to the end, but now i have to make the pins assignment and i'm having some problems... i have checked the schematic file included with the board but i'm so confused... if anyone could help me with that... thanks in advance.

hi victor

why are you so confused? what is your problem? Don't you know how to assign pins or don't you know the pin location??

uettwiller, thanks for your answer. I know how to assign the pins (this is not my first project)! ;)

I had a fitter error when I tried to compile the project and i think it was because a bad pin assignment, but i couldn't be able to find the mistake and that was driving me crazy...

i think i've solved the problem, and i'm going to test the project reading from and writting to SDRAM... hope it works!

i've tested my project and everything seems to work properly, i can write data in arbitrary ram direction and then read back...

i'm still thinking the fitter error was caused due to a bad pin assigment on the project.
