quartus ii web or nios2 or other?

hi, 

 

for my application (image fusion) with hte Board DE2, i would like to know which software and IP Core i could need to realize it and if there are free or not.

you can use Quartus II Web Edition (free) to target the Cyclone device on the DE2 board. you can also use Nios and other IP in Open Core Plus mode, which allows you to evaluate the core on your board as long as you are connected via USB to your host computer or for 1 hour if not connected.
