I have a question about quartus2 version.

Two years ago,I used quartus2 version 5.1 to compile a project, program the .POF file on the device EPM570T144C5,it works quite well on our products,but now I use the version 7.1 compile the same project,our products cann’t work stable,the setup conditions of the two version are same ,and the PCB is no problem.I donn’t know why, Are the two versions not compatble ?
