.stf file is damaged

Greetings,

I have just bought my Nios II embedded evaluation kit, and after setting up the programs of the kit I tried to do something in NIOS II 8.0 IDE, but when creating a project some error occurs that says stf file is damaged. Not only this error occurs but also I get the error that throws the exception of "MalformedByteSequenceException: Invalid 2 of 2-byte UTF-8 sequence". Because of these errors I cannot study. What should I do to solve this problem? By the way, I checked the path out if it contains any black/"space" character.

Thanks,

Abdullah
