hi , i need to know what's the maximum current HSMC connector
(asp-122953-01) sitting on sivgx fpga board can give through the 3.3v pins ? i want to connect another card to this board which needs certain amount of current and i wonder what the maximum it can drew ... thanksLink Copied

Go to www.samtec.com and look up the specs on the QSH (or QTH) connectors. The ASP-... connector is just a custom version of that. There should be a document there that talks about current capacity. Off the top of my head, I think each pin can handle 1A and the ground bar in the middle something around 7A.

this is for the connector, but you should also have a look at the main board schematic to see how much its power supply is able to deliver.
