using gnu compiler for bare-metal

Hello,

 

I read that it is possible to use gnu compiler for bare-metal project.

Yet, in some tutorial it is said that it is required to use full license for bare metal projects.

 

Can someone please explain what is actually required for bare-metal ?

Hi,

 

Bare Metal application able to interface directly to the system hardware and run, without an Operating System.

 

Intel only need you to have Altera SoC EDS and USB-Blaster driver for bare metal environment setup.
