what does Quartus message 142008 "Node xxxxx is a complex I/O" mean

I recompiled a design last compiled under licensed Quartus ver 17.x using Quartus Prime Lite 18.1.0 and get warning 142007 "Exported design partition includes one or more complex I/O elements".   And then it lists virtually  every pin as warning 142008 "Node xxxxxxx is a complex I/O".    Should I be concerned?  Any recommendations?  TYVM

Hi Fred, Refer the below links & if required, make the virtual pin assignments to the specified pins to make error free partition merge of the top level design. https://www.intel.com/content/www/us/en/programmable/quartushelp/15.0/mergedProjects/msgs/msgs/iqtk_qic_export_found_pin.htm https://www.intel.com/content/www/us/en/programmable/quartushelp/15.0/mergedProjects/msgs/msgs/iqtk_qic_export_found_pin_top.htm Regards, Vikas
