The Intel Driver & Support Assistant is sometimes unreliable when it comes to checking for updates for my device. Hence me asking this question here.
I have a Gigabyte Z370 HD3 motherboard along with a Neo Forza Zion NFS01 (no nvme).
Intel RST has started a new driver installer, starting from version 18.1.3.1036 found here. The Readme.txt of this version does not show support for my Z370 chipset. Does this mean that the only latest supported driver for this chipset is the legacy Intel RST 16.8.3.1003 found here? Any RST driver version 18.x would not be compatible with my Z370 chipset?
My hardware-id's:

From what I can see, v17.9.1.1009 seems to be the best one for Z370. You can download it here: https://downloadcenter.intel.com/download/29647.
Hope this helps,

Thanks a lot, I wasn't able to find that one.
But I was wondering if the 18.x version does not support the Z370 anymore. Is your linked driver the only latest one that I can use?

This is what I was able to find; there may be others that I missed in my search. You can try installing the newer (18.x) version; it will simply fail if it doesn't have support for your chipset. If it fails, you simply back off to the previous version.
