Not enough delivered information, so and you to receive even user level assistance.
RST this is driver and software package for RAID Array support.
The chain of compatibility starts with: motherboard model and supported operating system.
Many kids try to install higher OS version of what their hardware supports, and there is not any answers for such adventures.
Proper driver uninstall .... From windows device manager Roll back at older windows driver stored at your system.
REBOOT.
Boot at safe mode and uninstall the RST software.

Hi,
I am trying to uninstall this driver because this version has been detected to be vulnerable under CVE-2021-0104. I am not trying to uninstall a new driver, just uninstall an old one. I am still receiving that error.
Thanks.

This is news of the year 08/2021 ..
Back then the logged user = YOU , you could hack your own PC, by elevating privileges of other user accounts.
Undocumented Translation from Greece = a user without administrator account he could hack a windows workstation or a server, so to fiddle other users accounts.
So him to turn a regular account in to administrator account, and then him to gain full system control.
Microsoft the know suspect of poor software delivery, they are by law responsible to create security patches so to re-insure that Windows PC and or Windows Server connection and Microsoft applications RUNNING IN THEM they cannot be hacked from:
Local access = You
Remote access = Someone else
Home users never were at such risks.
They do not have or use Windows server environment.
In other words, you may use any driver that works best, by the obligation of you to always have a user password when you do log at your workstation.
