HI.

I'm getting Error Occurred (0) on my raid setup, using my intel raid controller on my Asus P9X79 E-WS.

I have 2x 3tb sata 7200rpm drives connected and they work.

Hi Amy.

When I attempt to do so, I receive the following error:

I then went to the Support/Drivers section of Asus to download the drivers for the Intel Raid hardware, and I upon extracting, I see the following, which do I install?

/thread/119529 yashzn, I am sorry for that! Please provide this report: https://downloadcenter.intel.com/download/25293/Intel-System-Support-Utility-for-Windows- Download Intel® System Support Utility for Windows*

Before installing one of those drivers, let me double check the error message you are getting. Please attach a screenshot of the error message and also a screenshot your Disk Management.

/thread/119529 yashzn, thank you for that information.

I was unable to find drivers for Windows® 10 for your computer model, so let's try with one of our generic RAID drivers. First uninstall the current version from Programs and Features, restart the system and proceed to install the following driver: https://downloadcenter.intel.com/download/26759/Intel-Rapid-Storage-Technology-Intel-RST-?product=55005 Download Intel® Rapid Storage Technology (Intel® RST)

Hopefully the driver fixes the issue, otherwise, this could a matter of compatibility with Windows® 10 and your particular computer model.

/thread/119529 yashzn, I am sorry to hear that!

The next thing to do is to get in contact with ASUS for more information regarding the compatibility of Windows® 10 and your specific computer model. I checked: https://www.asus.com/us/Commercial-Servers-Workstations/P9X79E_WS/HelpDesk_Download/, but there are no drivers available for Windows® 10, and this I believe could be related to the "Error Occurred (0)" error and the fact that our generic driver showed "This platform is not supported" message.
