Hello Dagal
Thank you for posting on the Intel® communities.
Regarding your inquiries, it is worth mentioning that new generations of versions of Intel® Rapid Storage Technology (Intel® RST) support newer technologies, for instance, Intel® Optane™ Memory, which previous platforms do not support, thus the latest Intel® Rapid Storage Technology (Intel® RST) User Interface and Driver do not support previous platforms (as the X99 chipset).
Also, this support capability also depends on Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) design and configuration and we recommend using the drivers provided by your OEM to eliminate the potential impact caused by loading non-customized drivers. System manufacturers regularly customize Intel generic drivers to meet the needs of their specific system design. In such cases, use of the Intel generic driver update is not recommended.
We recommend checking with the motherboard manufacturer regarding the latest customized drivers available for your system.
Regards,

Thanks for your reply. Thus, even with the release of the new version of windows, there will be no driver update?

Hello Dagal
Thank you for your response.
Regarding your inquiry we would like to inform you that we do not have visibility of details about releasing of future driver updates, so what we can recommend is keep checking with your OEM about the availability of the latest drivers, and you may also keep checking on https://downloadcenter.intel.com/ for the latest generic drives available and the release notes for more details and supported platforms.
Best regards,
Andrew G.
