ICH10R disables caches after reboot

Hello, i'm new here and have a question regarding the ICH10R that makes me headaches.

I'm running a Small Business Server 2008 with a Raid 5 with 6 1TB drives - so far so good, it runs very stable for 1.5 years now. The only thing i can't get to work are the caches of the array (disk-cache and write-back cache) when i enable them everything seems to be ok, but after "every" reboot one or both caches are disabled.

Until now i have enabled caches when i recognized a performance drop or when i looked at the RST Manager but this is not a satisfying solution.

Is there a way to enable caches permanently or is there a way to enable caches with a startup script?

greetings

I found a possibility to enable caches through a hotfix microsoft provides: http://support.microsoft.com/kb/811392/EN-US/ kb811392

I use task-sheduler to run the dskcache.exe provided by this hotfix which enables disk and write-back caches.
