Hello triumph_w,

Thank you for your response,

I am currently reviewing the information you posted. However, I need you to provide me with the SSU as well which I already sent a link to download it. Once downloaded just attach the report to a post. You can attach the report by clicking on the "Attach" button at the lower left of the area where you are typing the post.

Hi David,

It looks I can't upload an attachment for this post, lower left area only two tab "post" and "cancel" there, maybe because I am new to this community. The report I got is a text file "DxDiag.txt", the content have been pasted as text in my post. I also uploaded it to my Google drive with a sharable link https://drive.google.com/open?id=1IDKXqC9SQ9ydahWmquYXUoRZis9FddM5 DxDiag.txt - Google Drive

Thanks

Regards,

Chuanfu

Hi David, I tried your recommended version and it was not supported as well. After a few tries, I found the version RST 11.7.0.1013 worked with my laptop. However, I couldn't see any performance improvement even the RST said "the system is functioning normally". Please see the screen shot attached. Is there any other requirement to the laptop?

Hello triumph_w,

Thank you for your response,

In this case, through AHCI, storage performance is improved with Native Command Queuing (NCQ). AHCI also delivers longer battery life with Link Power Management (LPM), which can reduce the power consumption of the chipset and Serial ATA (SATA) hard drive.

Hi David, I am now using RST 11.7.0.1013, I took some screenshots with this post for your reference.

I used to have another laptop running RST and I can see the difference with and without RST. However, from my current laptop, I can't see any difference with RST installed. So, I doubt the RST is not fictionalizing at all.

Hello triumph_w,

Thank you for your response,

I understand your position; however, as mentioned before, In this case, through AHCI, storage performance is improved with Native Command Queuing (NCQ). AHCI also delivers longer battery life with Link Power Management (LPM), which can reduce the power consumption of the chipset and Serial ATA (SATA) hard drive.

So it would not be a software problem but more a hardware limitation.
