Hello @guy3145
Thank you for posting on the Intel® communities.
Please note that driver compatibility/availability relies on different factors like the platform (e.g.: Chipset/Processor) and the operating system supported.
Also, Intel only provides generic versions of drivers for general purposes. Your computer manufacturer may have altered the features, incorporated customizations, or made other changes to your driver. Therefore, the usual recommendation is to contact the computer manufacturer (OEM) for the latest system-specific updates and technical support information validated for your system.
Therefore, we would like to know if you have also tried searching for a newer driver from your OEM's website.
If driver updates are not available from your OEM, could you please provide us with the following information to review this further?
1- Besides not being able to find a newer driver and the information that you found in the "CVE article", are you experiencing any other issues with Intel® RST?
2- Run the Intel® System Support Utility (Intel® SSU) to gather more details about the system:
- Download the Intel® SSU and save the application on your computer
- Open the application, check the "Everything" checkbox, and click "Scan" to see the system and device information. The Intel® SSU defaults to the "Summary View" on the output screen following the scan. Click the menu where it says "Summary" to change to "Detailed View".
- To save your scan, click Next and click Save.
- Once you have saved the file (.txt file), please attach it to your reply.
To upload and attach a file, use the "Drag and drop here or browse files to attach" option below the response textbox.
Best regards,
