I created a RAID 0 with two competitor SSDs and loaded Windows 7 Pro 64-bit.
I loaded the motherboard driver disc and everything was working fine.
I connected 2 SATA drives and the system stopped at the Intel RST screen, to show me that one of the SSD drives was now "Incompatible" and thus the RAID 0 array was broken. Deleted and tried to recreate the RAID 0 array, but RST still showed that particular drive as "Incompatible."
Is it safe to say that the drive has failed?

I tried to load Windows on this suspect drive, but Windows didn't see the drive at all. I would guess that the drive is faulty.
I wonder if there's anyone here who can tell me what the "Incompatible" message means in the Intel RST program?
