I recently installed a samsung evo 960 500gb m.2 as my operating system. I installed Intel RST 15.8.1.1007, and it does not detect my OS drive, but have 4 other sata drives in my computer that show up in Intel's RST, one ssd, and 3 disc.
I am also getting a BSOD of iaStorA.sys if my computer sits idle for a time, and i come back.
I have a Gigabyte Gaming 5 GA-Z170X mb. On the support page for the MB, they list an older version of Intel RST in the driver download section. 15.0.0.1039, but figure this is just because they havent updated the site with the most current driver, or should i be using the older driver?
Windows 10 64bit
Thank you!!

Detonate: Thank you very much for contacting the Intel® Rapid Storage Technology communities. We will do our best to assist you with this scenario.
In regard to your inquiry, even though it is an older version, we normally recommend to use the Intel® RST version provided by the manufacturer of the board since it was validated and tested by them as fully compatible.
We also advice to install the latest BIOS version for your board, F22c:
