Intel Rapid Storage Technology (RST) 14.6 failed to start

After upgrading RST to version 14.6 (was something like 10.x) on Windows Server 2008 R2 I got this errors (in Russian), no running service and no GUI can be opened from tray icon anymore:

Also I suspect incompatibility with some of Windows Updates was installed at same time. It's internal server without Internet access, so updates was installed manually as big pack.

After I have been doing some research, I can see that this s a compatibility problem because the motherboard you have is able to support Intel® Rapid Storage Technology version 12.8.0.1016 but based on Windows 7 and not Windows server 2008 R2.

I don't think it's a compatibility issue, error clearly shows a .NET problem ("GetEndDeviceInfo" function gets two same named objects and tries to save its to the dictionary which requires unique keys).

Have you tried contacting Gigabyte to see if they have something else to say about this issue?

I tried downgrade to RST 12.8 with/or without HotFix (both files from GigaByte) with no success (exactly same error).

I will hope Intel developer can guide me what can be theoretically wrong with .NET on my server to produce such exceptions. I have installed .NET 4.6.1 on Windows Server 2008 R2 Standard (russian language pack).
