Intel Rapid Storage Technology

I had a failed drive in a raid 5 and replaced the drive., I went in and to told it to rebuild to new disk as described. It was going through the rebuild process. I have a feeling that it may not of completely finished as I walked off.

When I got back all the drives showed good including the new drive, but the status still showed degraded raid 5 in the overall RAID. I restarted server and it has been at the shutdown page for 4.5 hours. I do see some drive activity about every 5 seconds so I'm not sure if it is rebuilding in the background or should I just do a hard boot and see what the status may be..

Please respond, and thanks in advance for any help provided...
