Guten Tag allerseits...

I would like to gather more information about your system to better understand the root of the issue. Could you please confirm if this is the actual device you are using?
Additionally, could you explain why you were attempting to install the Intel Rapid Storage Driver?
It would be helpful if you could describe any issues you're experiencing or provide screenshots of any errors, if applicable, so we can accurately identify the problem and suggest potential solutions. I look forward to hearing from you soon.
I hope to hear from you soon.
Best regards,
JeanetteC.

Windows 11 Home 64Bit
512GB SSD M.2 NVMe
16GB DDR4 3200 MHz
RTX3050 4GB GDDR6
Intel I5 12450H
Without the IRST Driver i dont can install my windows...
Without the Driver i can't see my Drives.
I need to load the IRST Driver in the Windows installation.
I have install the IRST Driver from Intel (Version 20.2.1.1016.4) and install my windows and i have problems in games i have micro lags...
It doesn't have to be the drivers' fault but I want to be sure that it is not the driver issue and that I only install the correct drivers for my notebook.
Now I have reinstalled Windows and want to be sure that I am using the correct drivers so that I do not have any problems...
From MSI Website the Driver for my Notebook are Version 19.5.1.1040 from 2023-05-16 its very old...
But on the Intel Website i find 2 Versions, whats the right version for my notebook?
Version 20.2.1.1016.4 looks like the latest but i its the right ?
The other Version is 19.5.8.1059.2
Thanks in Advance

Hi @Giiaanii
If you are not going to work in RAID mode (you have only one drive), you don't need the RST drivers at all. Enter BIOS settings and in Advanced Tab, look for "SATA mode selection" field and set it to AHCI. Save the BIOS setting and exit from BIOS. Now, your drive will be recognized in Windows.
Note:
I don't have your laptop, so in some systems, instead of looking for "SATA mode selection" , look in "Integrated peripherals" for "RAID Configuration (Intel VMD) and disable it.

Hello Giiaanii,
Thank you for sharing the inputs here. The best Intel RST Drivers that you may install are the ones from your system manufacturer's download page. It may be older version (version 19.5.1.1040) but that is the most appropriate ones you may install, since it is specifically designed for your system model. The RST Drivers we have on our Download Center are designed for desktop PCs.
To avoid any errors with the Intel RST Drivers installation, you may want to check this article link from your system manufacturer support for the complete guide.
[How To] Load VMD/IRST driver during Windows installation
I highly recommend contacting your system manufacturer support team, for a complete guidance to avoid any room for errors.
I will proceed in closing this thread. Should you need assistance in the future, please submit a new question as this thread will no longer be monitored.
Sincerely,
JeanetteC.
