Intel Rapid Storage not showing any hard drives

Device Manager, Disk Management and BIOS show 2 hard drives, but none showing in the graphic window, screen shot attached.

BIOS is set to RAID mode else IRST app would not install.

Want to setup RAID 1 for my two identical hard drives.

What am I missing?

Hello jrtuttle,

 

 

I understand Intel RST is not detecting the hard drive you have connected to the computer.

 

 

Let me apologize for any inconvenience this issue may be causing to you.

 

 

There is a chance the hard drives might be connected to the Marvel SATA controller (blue SATA ports). Intel RST will only recognize the SATA drivers that are connected to the Intel SATA controller (black SATA ports).

 

 

If the operating system is installed in any of those two drives then it will be necessary to reinstall Windows* if you connect the SATA drive to the Intel SATA controller.
