Intel driver & support assistant detects/suggests incorrect RST driver version

I have an ASUS ROG MAXIMUS XI GENE motherboard with an Intel Optane SSD 900P/905P

For some reason Intel Driver & Support Assistant seems confused about what version of the RST User Interface and Driver is installed.

If I try to install the "update" I get a window saying "are you sure you want to overwrite the following drivers with the older versions",  but the window does not list any drivers (see attached image).

Is this driver even applicable for Optane 905P?

Hello MartinSt,

Thank you for posting on the Intel® communities.

In order to better assist you, please provide the following:

1. Have you tried to uninstall the Intel driver & support assistant and reinstall it?

- Uninstaller: https://downloadcenter.intel.com/download/30193/Intel-Driver-Support-Assistant-Uninstaller?v=t

2. Have you tried to install the driver update manually?

Sometimes the Intel driver & support assistant gets confused between the generic and customized drivers and it is needed a manual update. Please let me know the results.
