Is Intel Rapid Storage Technology 14.8 still available?

Hey all -

We've still got a lot of machines that are working great, that run on older hardware that needs that old 14.8.16.1063 version of the driver.

Did Intel, with its ~$20 billion annual profit, decide to no longer host this file on the Download Center the way they did with old wifi drivers back in the day?

Regarding your question, the download file for version 14.8.16.1063 is not available at our download center. However, keep in mind that the system manufacturer lists an Intel Rapid Storage Technology version optimized for your units, our recommendation is to get the installation file from your systems OEM.
