The 7th drive is showing as the same serial number as one of the other drives. Also the drive that shares the same serial number that is normal is being shown as a non raid drive.
The chipset I am using is C600+/C220+

Try disconnecting power completely for 5 minutes. Boot up again and go into BIOS Setup (or do CTRL-I to get into OpROM). Do you still see the phantom drive?

The phantom drive does not show up in the BIOS Setup. It only shows up in the RSTe windows application. I removed the drive that had the same serial number as the phanton drive and put it back in which is now allowing me to rebuild the array but I do not want to do that because I am not 100% sure if that will work.

You ain't going to know unless you let it proceed. I am not seeing an alternative. Once you removed it from the array, you committed yourself.
