I originally had 2xSATA SSDs setup in a RAID 1 array. I recently replaced both drives with PCIe NVMe SSDs. I was able to do the migration just fine by removing and rebuilding one drive at a time. My question is, the RAID 1 array was originally setup using the SATA controller option in "Create RAID Volume". Now that I have NVMe drives, should I break the RAID 1 array and recreate it using the PCIe controller option in "Create RAID Volume"? Are there any performance benefits of SATA vs PCIe controller?
Thank you.

Which Windows* version is currently installed in your computer?
Does the problem happen at home or in the work environment?
Please attach the SSU report so we can verify further details about the components in your platform, check all the options in the report including the one that says "3rd party software logs":

I also have the same problem on an MSI Pro b760 MP motherboard where it is not possible to configure Raid 1 with PCI Express disks.
