Hello Forum,
I'm encountering an issue with my HP All-in-One 24-df1237c Bundle PC (1J7M8AA) after a Windows 11 reinstall.
BIOS shows: Intel(R) RST 18.1.1.5201 RST VMD Driver.
Background:
- My previous Windows installation became corrupted and was unrecoverable. Recovery key that I have lead to dead blue screen
- I successfully installed a fresh copy of Windows 11 on an external hard drive.
- I attempted to install the Intel Rapid Storage Technology Driver (version 18.7.6.1010 Rev.A) from HP's official website.
- After the reboot, Windows failed to recognize the old driver.
- I also tried to install "The Intel® Rapid Storage Technology (Intel® RST) Driver (18.7.6.1010.3)" but after 20% installation progress got BDOS.
Question:
Are there any additional drivers or software components required to enable Windows 11 to recognize the old Intel RST driver?
I'm uncertain if this is the appropriate forum for this query or if it would be better suited for an HP or Intel forum.
Any guidance or assistance would be greatly appreciated.
