Windows can't be installed on drive... (RAID0)

Hi,

I have just set up, through the BIOS, a RAID 0 array using two Plexter PX-256M8PeG M.2 NVMe SSDs in PCIe mode.

(Motherboard is ASUS MAXIMUS IX Formula)

But when I tried to install Windows 10 (64 bit) on this RAID, the Windows installer said

"Windows can't be installed on drive 1 partition 0...."

(Please see screen attached)

The version of IRST driver I loaded during Windows 10 installation is Version 15.5.0.1050 (dated 4/13/2017).

(FYI, I already disconnected all other SATA drives from the system, to eliminate other possibilities of conflicts)

Anyone any idea?

Many thanks!

David

Hello DavidWong,

Just to confirm; your BIOS and the Windows® 10 installation you are using are set on UEFI?

Regards,

Amy C.
