I do some thoughts about upgrading from Win 7 Pro (retail) at Windows 10 Enterprise LTSC , OS release of year 2021.
And I wonder of which version of RST driver, INTEL supplied at Microsoft for this operating system?
Windows 10 Enterprise LTSC, this a separate revision of an operating system, in theory this includes most stable versions of any included device drivers, as this aiming workstations for business.
System manufacturer: Gigabyte Technology Co., Ltd.
System model: Z87X-UD5H
Gigabyte this is not in a position to have such an answer , OS and Driver support both came later than the motherboard.

Hi Kiriakos-GR,
Thank you for posting in the community!
Based on your initial post, it seems you're looking for an RST driver compatible with your current OS. However, after checking your motherboard manufacturer's website, the latest driver they released dates back to 2015, while Windows 10 Enterprise LTSC was released in 2021. Therefore, I suggest trying the generic RST driver available on Intel's website to see if it is compatible with your OS.
Nonetheless, I recommend contacting your motherboard manufacturer or Microsoft to verify which driver is compatible with Windows 10 LTSC. Since your motherboard is an Original Equipment Manufacturer product, it's best to consult them to ensure you're installing the correct driver for your system.

I did discover an older post in this forum.
This confirming that at 2016, Microsoft this supplying Intel 13.2.0.1022 storage controller driver.
Also this user offers as workaround of how the console alone to be installed at W10.
I am currently scanning the web so to collect or download any relative drivers that I might need, when I will activate Windows 10 Enterprise LTSC Clean installation.
Basically, actual RST driver version this never had much of importance at a mature hardware, as is Z87X platform.
We all seek the combined file, of Driver + Console, because Microsoft this is supplying only the driver.
Microsoft, this released four W10 LTSC

I did a quick research at Microsoft.
Their calendar about W10 driver support for Driver Model: Intel(R) 8 Series/C220 Series this ends at July 2018.
INTEL - System - 10.1.1.44
Size: 58 KB

I am now starting pulling my hairs ...
How it is possible of me using successfully (RST) Version 14.10.0.1016 WHQL at Windows 7 Pro retail.
When W10 this appears using or running an older revision of the driver?

Hi Kiriakos-GR,
I'm a bit confused by your reply and would appreciate your help in summarizing the information you've provided. To confirm, are you looking for an RST driver compatible with Windows 10 Enterprise LTSC? If so, could you clarify whether the Intel RST driver I mentioned has any compatibility issues during installation?

a) I am not currently own Windows 10 Enterprise LTSC (so to be able to test)
b) Due the fact, that INTEL for the platform Intel(R) 8 Series/C220 Series , they originally gave drivers with several active features, and at newer revisions they remove most of them. By choice I wish to use 14.10.0.1016 WHQL at any build of operating system.
The one million dollars question is, if 14.10.0.1016 WHQL installs and operates successfully at Windows 10 Enterprise?
I am avoiding window's 10 regular builds for many years, but according to others in this forum, most people appears having an issue loading RST console at the operating system.
The information posted by the other user ( link above) this is a good workaround. And also this is another proof of the problem.
I do not need the latest drivers, right now I am looking for confirmations, that I can apply as administrator the driver of my choice over the operating system of my choice.

Hello Dhanniel M.
According of my own research, it was a time that version 14.10.0.1016 it was offered due Microsoft update (driver only) for W10.
From the other hand, yes I do need a clarification, as I am not aware if W10 Enterprise this is using for Server signed drivers release, or regular driver editions.

Hello Kiriakos-GR,
Thank you for patiently waiting, I have checked this about this internally and based on my findings. The latest driver available for the GA-Z87X-UD5H motherboard, the most recent version is 14.5.0.1081. I have also confirmed that this version of Intel RST drivers is compatible with Windows 10/11 LTSC Enterprise editions. Here's the link: https://www.gigabyte.com/Motherboard/GA-Z87X-UD5H-rev-1x/support#support-dl-driver-sataraidahci
For our perspective it is recommended that to use the Intel RST driver provide by the OEM, as these version may include specific customizations and optimizations tailored to the hardware. Which could enhance performance and compatibility to standard Intel RST Driver.
Regarding your other question, I recommend reaching out to Microsoft for further clarification. They will be able to provide you with the most accurate and detailed information.
Best regards,

Hello Dhanniel M.
In conclusion, INTEL has no internal records of driver versions, which INTEL offered at Microsoft, for these three builds of Windows Enterprise.
There is a tiny amount of OEM with the offering of Windows Enterprise OS along hardware, and Gigabyte this is not one of them.
As a closing, I will advice windows PC owners, to stop thinking Windows Enterprise OS, as replacement of other windows versions.
Licensing and support, both belong at sources, that retail customers has no access to them.

Hello Kiriakos-GR,
OEMs such as Gigabyte typically offer customized drivers to ensure optimal performance and compatibility with their hardware. Although Gigabyte may not directly provide support for Windows Enterprise OS, their drivers are tailored to work seamlessly with the hardware they manufacture. Additionally, Intel's drivers are generally compatible with Windows Enterprise editions, ensuring broad support across different systems.
With that in mind, I will be closing this inquiry. If you require any further information, please don't hesitate to submit a new question, as this thread will no longer be actively monitored.
Best regards,
Dhanniel M.
