I have a Dell Latitude 7300 i7-8665u with currently 16GB RAM(2x8GB) installed.
I was looking to upgrade it to the maximum amount of allotted RAM.
I'm getting some conflicting information from Intel's website and Dell's website.
According to the Dell website, the maximum is 32GB(2x18GB) and Intel's website states it's 64GB(2x32GB).
Can someone clarify which is correct and why? I would like to purchase the correct amount the first time and not have to possibly do two installs.
Thank you!

Hello JohnEng,
Thank you for posting in Intel community Forum.
By default, Intel® Core™ i7-8665U can support up to 64 GB of RAM as stated in the link below:
However, OEM manufacturers can alter that base on the system that they built and everything is being controlled by their BIOS.
In the case, we recommend that you follow the recommended RAM configuration from the laptop manufacturer. For more details about it, kindly contact them for further assistance.
If you have questions, please let us know. Thank you.
Best regards,

Hello JohnEng,
I hope you are having a good day.
I am sending another follow up to check if you still have clarifications and I hope you are now talking to the manufacturer of the laptop for further checking the supported RAM.
Since we have not heard back from you, I need to close this inquiry.
If you need further assistance, please post a new question as this thread will no longer be monitored.
Thank you and have a great day.
