Hi,

I would like to set the CPU shut down temperature to ~70C.

Is it possible?

Thank you,

Szabolcs

Hello szbalogh,

Thank you for posting on the Intel communities.

We understand that you have some questions regarding Intel️ processors

In order to provide you with support we would like to gather the following details about the processor:

  • What is the model of Intel Processor you are currently using?

  • What is the type of system in which the processor is currently installed?

Once you are able to gather this information please share it with us, in case we don't receive a response we will follow up with your post

Dear Robert,

I have two Xeon 2686 V4 CPUs in a S2600TP server board. The system is in an 'Other Chassis'.

Thank you,

Szabolcs

Hello szbalogh,

Thank you for posting on the Intel® communities.

In this case, the procedure that you are inquiring about if available (depending on the motherboard model and manufacturer) would normally be done through the BIOS; however, the model of motherboard you have has been discontinued; therefore, Intel Customer Service no longer supports inquiries for it, perhaps fellow community members have the knowledge to jump in and help. You may also find the Discontinued Products website helpful to address your request. Thank you for understanding.
