Hello dear users! Help me please to launch my S2600СP server.
I have this problem:
It was installed system Windows Server 2008 x64 R2. Very noisy coolers and I decided to update the BIOS to automatically adjust the noise coolers. I downloaded the update "S2600CP_SFUP_BIOS02060002_ME020107328_BMC0125r9398_FRUSDR111" and set them with the windows command line. Update was successful, but after I turned off the server and turn it on again, it is no longer loaded, again noisy cooler and there is no signal on the monitor.
I read the instructions, move the jumper to position 2-3 and would like to install the BIOS firmware from the flash drive, but I did not work, writes: BIOS INSTALLED: SE5C600.86B.02.03.0003
Platform ID: S2600CP
And flashing cursor to the bottom, no processes not.
I ask your help, please tell me what should I do?

Hello Cesar,
Thanks for the answer. The archive is a directory called "BIOS recovery files", as I understand it according to the instructions I have to copy the files on the flash drive recovery, translate jumper in position 2-3 and turn on the server.
The process does not reach the flash download, I changed three different flash memory capacity, but it has not produced results. What should I do? Explain the process of recovery in detail please. What am I doing wrong?
I am attaching screenshots

Hello Cesar,
I do all this for notes and hints on page 102 (item 8.4 Bios Recovery Jumper).
I uploaded files to a flash drive, but the server does not boot from the flash drive. I sent the photo position jumper to recover the BIOS, see it properly. How do I get to boot from a flash drive?

Dear Cesar,
also I want to mention that when I rented the entire memory, I do not get the sound signals in a normal position jumper.
Only when in bios recovery mode, the jumper is at position 2-3, I get the signals and the inscription appears on the monitor, there is no memory.
This is normal?

Alisher

Hello Magnat,
The fact RAM is not recognized when Jumper is in position 2-3 is not an expected behavior.
Please try doing a Clear CMOS, refer to http://www.intel.com/content/dam/support/us/en/documents/motherboards/server/s2600cp/sb/g26942005_s2600cp_p4000cp_tps_rev19.pdf page 100 of Technical Product Specification.
Once Clear CMOS is performed please make sure you format your Flash Drive using https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/NTFS NTFS Format. Then, proceed to add the Firmware files and try Flashing through regular procedure using the EFI Shell and if that does not work then try the Bios Recovery process again.
Please let me know if you have any questions.
Best regards,
Caesar B.
