Intel RAID Web Console 3 (RWC3) for Windows Install problem

Hello All,

I wanted to install "Intel RAID Web Console 3 (RWC3) for Windows". The installation hangs with the following error:
"An error occurred while downloading the file http://openslp.org/download.html".

According to the description, it requires: "OpenSLPv3.0.0 64bit". "

"Pre-Requisites
===================
1. Prior to the first time installation of RWC3 builds, if "openslp_2.0.0_beta2_x86 (or) openslp_2.0.0_0_x86 (or) openslp_2.0.0_0_x64" is installed in the server(s), please un-install it from "Control Panel".

2. As part of RWC3 Pre-Requisite, we will be installing OpenSLPv3.0.0 64bit if no other version of OpenSLP is present.
Please ensure there are no older OpenSLP versions present.
If the user wants to install on his own, he can download from http://www.openslp.org/download.html Please ensure we are installing the 64 bit version of OpenSLP, during the manual installation."

In contrast, the latest version on the website "http://www.openslp.org/download.html" is OpenSLP 2.0.0.

What can I do, if the software is looking for 3.0.0 but the latest is only 2.0.0 ??

Hello, DG10,

Thank you for reaching Intel Communities. I will gladly help you.

OpenSLP version 3.0.0 is actually included in the package for Intel® RAID Web Console 3 for Windows, that way you can install it. "openslp_3.0.0_0_x64" is available in the "<Package_Dir>\ISSetupPrerequisites\{23401E90-6962-476F-9D92-F9027E91A490}\" directory.

You can install OpenSLP from the command line: "openslp_3.0.0_0_x64 /Q"

Best regards,

Allan
