Need firmware for RS2BL040

I have a SAS RAID controller I am trying to update the firmware on.  I am on version 12.13.0-104 (2.130.03) and need to go to 12.14.0-185 (2.130.393-3027).  There are only drivers and no firmware on the website.  I called support and they could not help and pushed me to this site (which I am confused by).  Can someone help me with a download link for the needed firmware?

Thank you,

Rich

Unfortunately I cannot provide much more information.  I am trying to salvage a RAID array from a failed adapter card.  I purchased a new card, but the firmware is an older version and I would like to upgrade it to match.  So there is no OS available right now and no way to run the SSU Log.

I don't know what additional details I could give you as I provided the model number (in the subject) and the firmware versions I would be coming from and going to.  In my experience this should just be a file or two that I can just download, and then follow the multiple documents online on how to load it.

Can you please provide the firmware files and any additional guidance needed? (Such as I cannot go straight to the new version, but must go to an interim version or two along the way).

Thank you,

Rich

I have been to those links and Phone support pushed me to those links, but neither has a download for Firmware which is why I came here.  Is there any additional assistance you can provide?

Greetings Mr. Rich,

Thank you for contacting Intel Customer Support.

We have provided those links for the Firmware driver update and you may click on the view details and download the firmware file.

Can you please be more specific on phone support details as you mentioned earlier.

Please try again and let us know the feedback as this need to be downloaded on your system or server desktop save as zip file.

If you have any question, please do let us know.

Can you kindly provide a direct link?  I have visited the two links above and one takes me to Driver files and a CMD utility. Neither is Firmware as far as I can tell.  I even downloaded a driver file and looked at the ZIP contents.  The View Details of the Driver files suggest also updating to the latest Firmware.  The other link takes me to a list of current products and their Firmware, but my model is not listed.

Unfortunately, I do not have the details of the phone conversation beyond what was provided. No case was generated as far as I can tell.

Hi Rich,

Did you get the file in the end? I went through this recently with repurposing an older server with an RS2BL040 card on old firmware. I have a copy of ir3_2108SASHWR_FWPKG-v12.14.0-0185.zip if you still need it.

Cheers,

Guy
