Pentium III vs Pentium Core?

I need to purchase a new computer for a piece of equipment. I have a minimum requirement specifications of Pentium III, 400/450 MHz, w/ 128-256 MB of RAM. I also have a requirement to buy an HP computer. When I look on the HP website, the lowest end processor I see is the pentium core. Does this processors meet my minimum requirement?
