Replacing Intel RAID RS3DC080 Controller - Will current RAID configuration be lost?

We have a failed RS3DC080 controller connected to RES3FV288 expander. If we replace RS3DC080 with same model controller, will we loose RAID configuration?

Thank you for joining the community

If the issue was detected on the RAID controller and it will be substituted using the exact same model, the configuration should not be affected due to the fact that this information remain on the HDDs, not on the RAID controller.

Bear in mind that you should install the new RAID controller using the same cabling positions.
