Hi,
I have an S1200KP based system that has suddenly started running its fans at full speed.
It seem sto happen in conjunction with me reseting the fans configuration to default in the BIOS, but I have since noted the PCH temp is 0
I have an identical system sat next to it with nice quiet fans and that is showing a PCH temp.....
Could I have a board gone faulty or is there some other config I should be looking at...
Thanks!!

You may want to try a BIOS update. If it doesn't fix the issue, get the board replaced.

Thanks for the reply Edward
I have re-flashed the same BIOS (023) with no joy.
I might try going to a previous version to see if that makes a difference.
Returning the board isn't an option - its an intel sample
