Good Thursday everyone,
I am setting up another server, Intel S2600STBR motherboard with a single Gold 6130T processor. I have DDR4-2400 ECC RAM, will that RAM work or do I need to use DDR4-2666 RAM?

According to ark.intel.com this S2600STBR boars supports the following memory types: DDR4 ECC RDIMM/LRDIMM 2133/2400/2666/2933 (Intel® Server Board S2600STBR Product Specifications) . Even though the Technical Product Specification document (https://www.intel.com/content/dam/support/us/en/documents/server-products/Intel_S2600ST_TPS.pdf#page=48) specifies that, for this processor/RAM combination, the supported types are 2666-2933 if you want to achieve the maximum possible speed out of the system. I think its possible to install DDR4-2400 and making the system to boot, but, since this is not a recommended configuration you might experience slow performance and/or random RAM related issues.
If you want to verify if the RAM you already have it is validated or not you can check the Intel Server Configurator Tool Current Gen THOL (intel.com)
