S5000PSL SATA not seeing all 6 SATA drives

Jump to solution

The S5000PSL bios is only showing 4 SATA drives. There are 6 SATA connectors on the board. All literature for this motherboard indicates 6 SATA available.

PATA is disabled. RAID is disabled.

Have 4 Seagate 2TB drives in connectors 2 through 5 but only seeing SATA 0 through 3.

Any help much appreciated.

Hello,

We regret to inform you that the board you are looking support is end of interactive support (EOIS) but as a general recommendation check cables and the backplane you are using to connect the drives. Make sure you have the latest firmware from our website.
