Hello guys,

I have a little problem with my SR2612URR and I hope that you can help me.

In server is RAID module AXXROMBSASMR and now I bought a new 3TB SAS HDD - ST33000650SS. BIOS can detect the HDD but in RAID configuration is HDD with error and with 0MB of capacity.

I found here http://serverconfigurator.intel.com/sctthol.aspx?search=Server+System+SR2612URR http://serverconfigurator.intel.com/sctthol.aspx?search=Server+System+SR2612URR that HDD is compatible so I do not know where is a problem.

Should I upgrade firmware? Or is problem with 3TB HDD?

Thank you and sorry for my english

Losan,

Compatibility is always the lesser of the combined device compatibilities. The AXXROMBSASMR RAID module uses the LSI* 1078 SAS ROC Controller, which doesn't support hard drives greater than 2TB. It's highly recommended that you select hard drives from the SROMBSASMR http://www.intel.com/support/motherboards/server/sb/CS-030488.htm Tested hardware and operating system list.

Regards,

John
