i got that in tech docs , only the image is not in details enough .
well i forgot to say that i have not bought a standard P4000 chassis but assemblied my workstation by purchasing boxed parts from local sales , and a lot of accessories are out of town there, and intel district sales serve big co.s only .

i did that 2days ago , replied that none is doing/will do this job .
any way i ordered a cable similar to the part described in tek doc , can be plugged in , but the board doesn't find the newly pluggin hard drive .
can any body tell what is wrong there ?

It is difficult to tell form the photo, but there are 2 types of cables that look almost identical.
- The first is design to go from the controller to 4 drives.
- The second is design to go from 4 mother board sata connectors to a back plane.
The ends on both ends are identical, but the wiring is reversed internally.

good news !
i ordered an oem miniSAS to SATA cable , it works , that's a relief .
and the other problem , i have added a big video card , its heat sink just sits over the mainboard internal video port so i simply give up the DIY thing and be very happy now .
