Windows Server 2016 Mirror Created using Microsoft Disk Management

We have tested Software Mirrors on a number of Intel S1200SPLR motherboards under Windows Server 2016. In all instances we are unable to boot off the Secondary Mirror Disk. We installed a 3rd party Sata controller in the system and it works fine. The issue is definitely the Sata connectors on the Intel Motherboard. Has anyone else experienced this problem?

Hello CalParsons,

Thank you for contacting Intel Customer Support.

I just check in our records and I don't see any similar incident in our records, so please allow me some time to go ahead and try to have this replicated, If you could provide some further details on your set up, like hardware models, software versions, steps followed to create and restore the mirrors that would be very helpful

Please feel free to reply to his message at any time, I'll stay tuned to your comments.

Regards.

While taking this matter to the lab for replication we found that there is already a case open trough technical support on this matter under the number 03239405,

Since this is already under review on a higher technical level will set this thread as closed, anyway someone from the community has any input still can be posted, the resolution will be posted here when the case gets resolved.
