Sure, I know about new line up - but it doesn't include board marketed as workstation as before - so that's why I'm asking.

Let me provide some assistance on this one.

The intended successor for the Intel® Workstation Board W2600CR2 is the http://www.intel.com/p/en_US/support/highlights/server/s2600cw Intel® Server Board S2600W Family.

As noticed, we are not using the label/tag "Workstation" in the name. I could not find a technical reason of why we are not using it but most certainly this is the correct product to consider when upgrading from your current Intel® Workstation Board W2600CR2.
