dz77BH-55k USB and Built-in Network card driver

Has anybody been able to install Windows 2008 R2 Enterprise Server and have the dz77BH-55k built in ethernet port get the driver installed? (I beleive it is the the dz77BH-55k has the Intel(R) 82579V Gigabit Network device, but when I go to install that driver it says "no Intel (r) Adapters are present"

Is there a way to override to get the driver installed.

With the USB 3.0 driver, it says the computer is not meeting the minimum requirements.

Any help would be much appreciated. Thanks

The Intel® Desktop Board DZ77BH uses Intel® 82579V Gigabit Network Connection and it does not have a driver or software support for Windows Server 2008 R2.

• Please download the ZIP file.
• Uunzip the file to a specific folder.
• Look for the AUTORUN.EXE file and double click on it.

Those drivers didn't work, but one of former coworkers made a their board work with the built in 82579V network port. They sent me the modified setup to allow the driver to be installed.

As for the USB 3.0 drivers, on Saturday I ordered an xeon lga 1155 processor and got it the same day since I ordered it on time for Amazon the ship it, While upgrading the CPU, I just for the heck of figuring out the USB thing, removed a seven port pci express expansion card, and turned on the system and found that was the USB 3.0 not working with server 2008.

I'm a bit confused as to why all that has to be done for the network driver is alter 4 to get it to accept the fact that it will load for server 2008 R2. I thought Intel would add the 4 lines automatically, but I guess that's not the case, but atleast my friend figured out how to patch the installer so now all devices work perfectly.

Can you tell me what exactly makes the board not capable of being a server if it supports xeon cpus, and supports 32GB of 2800MHz ram ?

Even though the board supports Intel® Xeon® processors, it's still a desktop board; therefore only desktop operating systems are supported at this current time. If you need a fully compatible server, there are options on the server board section that may fill your needs.

In addition, I would like to remind you that all XEON processors support memory speed up to 1600 GHz. So even though the motherboard supports higher memory speed, I recommend you to use compatible memory and avoid over clocking the CPU.
