s2400gp2 network card

I have s2400gp2 motherboard and QLogic Corporation NetXtreme II BCM57840 and card not work. Its possible to work card with this motherboard?

This particular network card doesn't show up listed under the https://serverconfigurator.intel.com/exalt/RequestManager?ServletNumber=1&dynamicUser=Y&localinfo=0&RestrictionVal=SVG&APPLICATIONCODE=1 Tested Hardware List. Despite of that it is possible for the card to be recognized by the server board since it is a standard PCI card but there is no guaranty that it will work correctly or stable. Remember that PCI slots 3, 4 and 5 work only when CPU 2 is installed. For more details you can check the https://www.intel.com/content/dam/support/us/en/documents/motherboards/server/s2400gp/sb/g50295002_s2400gp_tps_r1_1.pdf Technical Product Specification.Also make sure to update the https://downloadcenter.intel.com/download/22796/Intel-Server-Board-S2400GP-Family-Firmware-Update-Package-for-Extensible-Firmware-Interface-EFI-?product=61082 BIOS and disable unnecessary onboard solutions in case those are not in use such as onboard RAID. Click on the Intel Server Configurator Tool > Guest User > THOL Builder and do a search for this particular board.
