Hello ZapBrannigan,
This particular network card doesn't show up listed under the https://serverconfigurator.intel.com/exalt/RequestManager?ServletNumber=1&dynamicUser=Y&localinfo=0&RestrictionVal=SVG&APPLICATIONCODE=1 Tested Hardware List. Despite of that it is possible for the card to be recognized by the server board since it is a standard PCI card but there is no guaranty that it will work correctly or stable. Remember that PCI slots 3, 4 and 5 work only when CPU 2 is installed. For more details you can check the https://www.intel.com/content/dam/support/us/en/documents/motherboards/server/s2400gp/sb/g50295002_s2400gp_tps_r1_1.pdf Technical Product Specification.
Also make sure to update the https://downloadcenter.intel.com/download/22796/Intel-Server-Board-S2400GP-Family-Firmware-Update-Package-for-Extensible-Firmware-Interface-EFI-?product=61082 BIOS and disable unnecessary onboard solutions in case those are not in use such as onboard RAID.
Finally you can check with Broadcom to see if they have tested this card with our hardware.
Hope this helps.

Hello ZapBrannigan,
Sorry about the broken link.
You can try this one instead: https://www.intel.com/content/www/us/en/support/articles/000008449/server-products/server-boards.html https://www.intel.com/content/www/us/en/support/articles/000008449/server-products/server-boards.html
This is the general document about the compatibility for the S2400GP board. Click on the Intel Server Configurator Tool > Guest User > THOL Builder and do a search for this particular board. Under category select Ethernet and you will get the compatible network cards.
Hope it helps this time
