Hi I am using the wolfpass 2U system. I enabled console redirection and enabled SOL for all three channels. When I do ssh -p 66 user@IPMI-IP I get connection refused. The port 66 is enabled for SOL

We are also having the same issue with S2600WFTR based system.
Using BMC via web console works but SSH login attempt with same credentials shows "Connection Refused". Using the SOL java application also fails (rejects password).
The SOL is configured to use Channel 3 (dedicated Server Management NIC) and port 66.

Hi
I am using R2208WFTZSR, in the BIOS have enabled SOL for all three channels. I am using BIOS version SE5C620.86B.02.01.1011.060420200855, BMC FW rev 2.42.d0b788a4, ME FW 04.01.04.339.
In the SOL part of the IPMI setting it gives me port 66.
on my linux machine, I type the following
ssh -p 66 user@bmc-ip
I get response: connection refused
do you know why?
ssh -p 66 root@BMC-IP
ssh: connect to host BMC-IP port 66: Connection refused
I even tried telnet to the BMC-IP on port 66 still get refused connection.

Hello RKhan15,
Upon checking your BIOS version it seems that you are running version 02.01.1011 and
currently, the latest version is 02.01.0013 and this will also update the BMC firmware to version 2.48.89b32e0d.
You can download this version here:
You can check this video for reference:
https://www.intel.com/content/www/us/en/support/articles/000032841/server-products.html
Once you update your BIOS, please check if you get the same error again.
If you still have the same error message, please provide us a screenshot of your Serial port Configuration.
Best regards,
Sergio S.
