Is it possible to create a raid from two ssd disks in the following configuration:

- server board S2600STQ

- Intel Xeon 3106 Bronze

- RAID ASUS Hyper M.2 X16 Card

- 2 * Intel SSD M.2 256Gb P3100 серия SSDPEKKA256G701

- ACTIVATION KEY RAID SSD VROCISSDMOD 956822 INTEL

or it is necessary to connect ssd immediately via PCIe OCuLink connectors?

This server board is missing here https://serverconfigurator.intel.com/exodus/page%3FeventType%3D11%26targetPageId%3D120202808%26defaultFlag%3D1 Intel Tested Hardware and Operating System List

Hello nelubin,

Hope you are doing fine.

We have not created that configuration before.

Seems that as both of the principal devices are VROC compatible it should work fine.

But, let us do research about it in order to give you an accurate answer and we will get back to you as soon as possible.

Hello nelubin,

Asus controller hasn't been tested nor validated to work on our boards.

We strongly recommend the use of validated components only, this to avoid compatibility issues with 3rd party components.

But, you are welcome to test the Asus card within your Server System, just make sure that FW on the board is the latest as well as on the Asus card.

You may want to consult with Asus support as well.

Hello nelubin,

That is correct you can create a Raid 1 with OCu-Link as this board (S2600STQ) is VROC compatible and do not need an upgrade key, just keep in mind that each OCu-Link connector supports only 1 NVMe SSD per port.
