Dear team,
we have several down of vSAN cluster coused by Intel SSD 4510 1.9TB. Now is problem with controller RMS3JC080.
Regarding this VSAN cluster that we have problems with failure of SSD. Now we have issue with RMS3JC080 controller.
They reported to partner Datatek that IO Controller Avago Fusion-MPT 12GSAS SAS3008 in vSAN config msut be in Pass-Through mode, who is only supported (VMware Compatibility Matrix). In this configuratio controler is in Passthru Capable: false statusu (could this mode be thrue?).
Also is needed deatailed product guide/user manual of RMS3JC080.

also please answer on my question is or not capable for

Are you referring to the Intel RAID Software like ESRT2, RWC3? Or the
If you would like to verify the comparability of Features and the Configuration Modes for your Vmware vSAN Implementation,

I mean guide for update firmware.
We have problem where to find guide for install new firmware only IT mode. As we need to enable IT mode on controller in link on firmware https://downloadcenter.intel.com/download/27980/Intel-12Gb-SAS3-IT-IR-Firmware?product=81864 is just one file. Can you explain steps how to enable just IT mode. We update firmware but there is IF mode (IR) and we can’t find IT mode.
Please can you provide file just for IT mode or guide.
also, we need some like this https://www.broadcom.com/support/knowledgebase/1211161501344/flashing-firmware-and-bios-on-lsi-sas-hbas
can we use those broadcom firmware to flash bios to IT mode? If yes is there any special steps for update firmware with broadcom file.

We need answer (solutiion) how to enable IT mode on RMS3JC080.
We upgrade firmaware to the latest but not able to enable just IT mode. IT mode pass trough is only allowed by vmware vsan.
please we need answer asap.

Are you using and Intel Server Motherboard? If you are using an Intel Server System check the following tool in order to extract all the system information:

Which steps did you follow in order flash the firmware of the RAID Module before?

The firmware of MB S2600WFT are latest available on Intel download section.
The firmware of RSM3JC080 as we suggested to update to latest to work in IT mode we update with Version: 16.00.01.00 https://downloadcenter.intel.com/download/27980/Intel-12Gb-SAS3-IT-IR-Firmware?product=81864
as this not work its roll back to Version: 15.00.01.00 https://downloadcenter.intel.com/download/29203/Intel-12Gb-SAS3-IT-IR-Firmware?product=81864

It would be great if you will succeed to change firmware to LSI stock IT mode on link that send to you in your lab.
