I'm looking forward to the new tablet camera. I developed a new control system in Unity today for amplifying the effect of camera inputs so that an avatar can swing its arm from fully lowered to fully raised with just a small hand movement in front of the camera, not going out of tracking range. So it'd be cool to try to adapt my RealSense game for the tablet camera.
I envision a play-style similar to the rear touch-pad on the PlayStation Vita handheld, where the player would lay down comfortably with the tablet resting on their lap, holding it with one hand (since it would be too tiring to hold the tablet up with one hand) whilst the other hand is hovering behind the tablet controlling the avatar with hand movements in front of the rear camera, in the same way the hand is used with the front camera in the PC version (assuming the tablet camera can be used to read finger joints like the PC one.)
