Hi All,
I'm trying the example for Actuation mentioned in https://software.intel.com/en-us/node/537151 and it's not working.
I would like to know how to debug the Actuation issue(any log to see whether it reaches device or not). I'm able to see the device in cloud and unable to do Actuation
I feel chances for IP is not resolved. Please provide some debug steps or log file to check the issue
Thanks,
Mani

Hi,
You can change the logging verbosity level to debug in agent config.
What version of agent do you use? Do you have actuator components registered for the device?
Best regards,
Joanna

Hi Joanna,
Thanks for your reply.
MQTT will not work in Proxy and this could be the reason for not working in my case
Thanks,
Mani

Hi Mani.
We recently added more documentation on Control/Actuation as well as more sample code (Python, Arduino and Node.JS).
As Joanna said, increasing the logging level can tell you whether the agent is receiving the actuation message from the Cloud.
